C.VILLARIN

I remove the manual work from operations. Then I run what is left.

Chris D. Villarin. Ten years leading remote teams across audit, compliance, and healthcare operations; the last four spent converting that work into n8n, Playwright, and AI workflows that run without supervision.

Watch one task lose its job.

A payer status check, the way I found it and the way I left it. Representative run, played at 16× speed.

  1. >open payer portal_
× 40 checks per week2h 48m
The workflow I build00:00
  1. >webhook fires on schedule_
× 40 checks per week13m

04:12 against 00:19 per check. Across 40 checks a week that is 2h 48m of operator time down to 13m of machine time, and the operator only sees the exceptions.

This one is not a simulation.

The button fires a real n8n workflow on the server hosting this page. It checks three live services and reports its own execution id and true timings.

Awaiting trigger. Nothing here is prerecorded.

The stack behind the race.

Four layers, each doing the part the others cannot. Every workflow in production is composed from these.

n8n

Operations that run without a person in the loop

Self-hosted n8n workflows chain intake, scheduling, and payer follow-up. A webhook catches the event, branching logic picks the path, and the team only sees what genuinely needs a human decision.

  • Webhook triggers
  • Branching logic
  • Error handling
  • Scheduled runs

Playwright

Portals with no API get one anyway

Payer portals and practice platforms rarely expose data cleanly. Playwright scripts sign in, pull status, and hand structured output back to the workflow, so authorization tracking stops being a manual sweep.

  • Headless runs
  • Resilient selectors
  • Structured output
  • Scheduled crawls

AI agents

Judgment work handled where the rules run out

Language models sit inside the workflow to read documents, classify exceptions, and draft the correspondence an operator would otherwise write from scratch. The operator reviews instead of composes.

  • Document parsing
  • Exception triage
  • Drafted correspondence
  • Human review gate

Make.com

The tools a company already pays for, connected

CRM, HR system, spreadsheets, and comms tied together so a record entered once lands everywhere it belongs. No re-keying, no drift between systems, no reconciliation meeting.

  • CRM sync
  • HR records
  • Reporting feeds
  • Alert routing

Not my testimony.

Every other claim on this page is mine. These are not. Trimmed for length, reworded nowhere.

Ten years supervising distributed teams across three countries without losing service quality.

  • KPI frameworks

Define the number that matters, instrument it, then run the review cadence that acts on it.

  • Compliance and risk

An internal audit background applied to CCPA, GDPR, and payer documentation standards.
